This morning we celebrated our Community Manager’s 5 Year Workiversary with Block Multifamily Group. If you ask us, she deserves so much more than these treats we surprised her with. She is an incredible leader who encourages all of the people around her to succeed. She doesn’t hold back in fear that someone may learn her duties enough to possibly be promoted to a management position in the future because she wants ALL OF US to be successful. It is not above or below her “pay grade” to do anything or help with anything regardless of whose designated job it is. She even does it In high heals and that’s a skill set on its own. Michelle represents what true leadership is because she stands with us, beside us, behind us, and for us at The Woods at Johnson Mill. She will laugh this off because even though she is in charge - she is one of the most humble/caring/strong people you will ever meet.
Michelle brings something special to our team and it encourages us to do our best. When debris hits the fan, she will let you know “it’ll be ok” and to “keep moving forward”. If you have ever been in our Management Office or to a Resident Event - we know that people see our dynamic and they are comforted in knowing that we are going to do what it takes to get things done to the best of our ability.
All of this cannot truly flourish without a LEADER. Yeah, she’s in charge, but she isn’t just going on about her day like she is more important than anyone else in the room. Michelle believes we are all important and she reminds us that we are equally important when it comes to serving the residents/family/friends in our community. That is rare, people!
We are super proud of you, Michelle. Thank you for what you put into our team. You seriously are an exceptional person all around and we are grateful for the type of leadership you represent.
Happy 5 Years with BMG and creeping up on 3 years at The Woods at Johnson Mill 🎉
